With the government shutdown and the threat of SNAP benefits being eliminated, Sweetwater Schools wants to ensure that everyone has access to food and other essential needs. Attached are the income requirements to qualify for HELP Inc. of Elk City. HELP Inc. also provides dental assistance for persons 18 and over, as well as utility assistance. Registration forms can be found in Joy's office or completed at HELP Inc. A valid driver's license is required. First Baptist Church in Sayre is also open on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 for food and resource assistance.
